Job summary

Tradition Senior Living in Dallas is seeking a Dining Room Manager to ensure an exceptional dining experience for residents and guests. Qualifications

• At least one year of management and supervisory experience in a restaurant setting or equivalent.
• Knowledge of restaurant style service related to meal service and timing.
• Sense of urgency in resident and guest service.
• Ability to create a harmonious, team-oriented working environment.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Highly organized in day-to-day food service operations.
• Effective communication and people skills.
• Sound organizational and time management skills.
• Good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Train, supervise and motivate team members.
• Labor management and scheduling.
• Purchasing within company guidelines and inventory control.
• Revenue tracking for accurate receipts of meal counts.
• Budget compliance.
• Quality, timeliness of meal service and food quality.
• Cleanliness of dining room and service areas.

• Maintain resident and guest meal records.
