Job summary

The Springs at Whitefish is seeking a Dining Room Supervisor to help lead our dining team and create a welcoming, enjoyable dining experience for our residents. This role partners with the Executive Chef and culinary team to oversee daily dining room service and support a high standard of hospitality.

You will train and coach servers, manage staff scheduling, coordinate with the kitchen, and ensure a clean, friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, or dining experience.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and lead a team.
• Experience in senior living is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support dining room staff during daily meal service
• Train and coach servers on service and hospitality standards
• Assist with scheduling and daily staffing needs
• Conduct pre-meal meetings and communicate menu and service updates
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining room
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely service
• Assist with special events and community functions
• Respond to resident feedback and help resolve concerns
• Monitor dining supplies and communicate ordering or maintenance needs
• Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training of dining staff
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and company standards
