Job summary

Savant Senior Living is seeking a Dining Room Supervisor to oversee daily dining operations in our assisted living facility. You will lead dining staff, ensure top service quality, and maintain a warm, resident-centered dining experience.

This role reports to the Culinary Director and requires a high school diploma, supervisory experience, and food-safety knowledge. You will coordinate schedules, monitor portions and temperatures, and train staff to deliver compassionate, consistent meals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary or hospitality education is a plus.
• Experience supervising staff in food service, preferably in senior living or healthcare.
• Proficiency with scheduling and basic record keeping software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staff schedules, assignments, and breaks for smooth mealtimes.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate daily specials and service expectations.
• Ensure dietary preferences, restrictions, and allergies are respected.
• Maintain a clean, safe dining environment and attractive table settings.
• Oversee menu planning, portions, temperatures, and presentation.
• Lead and train dining room staff on etiquette and resident interactions.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate orders for dining supplies.
