Job summary

Holiday by Atria in Hillsboro, Oregon seeks a Cook to prepare nutritious and appealing meals for residents in a dining services setting. You will follow Holiday recipes, manage portion control, and help maintain sanitary kitchen operations while delivering quality service.

The role involves daily coordination with the dining team, adherence to food safety standards, and a focus on resident satisfaction in a supportive, work-life balanced environment.

Qualifications

• Effective communication in English and excellent customer service skills.
• Basic Computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review menus and prepare meals according to Holiday recipes and portion-control standards.
• Oversee setup of serving carts and ensure meals are attractively plated and served on time.
• Follow food safety handling procedures and proper labeling, dating, and storage of foods.
• Maintain logs for refrigeration, freezing, and production sheets in a timely manner.
• Adhere to Holiday sanitation standards and keep prep and serving areas clean.
• Focus on resident satisfaction and address any food-related concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Dining Services team.
