Holiday by Atria - Durham Regent is seeking a cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents in a steady, safe kitchen environment. The role requires following Holiday menus and recipes with attention to portion control and food safety.

As part of the Dining Services team, you will oversee meal setup, assist in serving, and maintain logs of temperature and production. The position emphasizes resident satisfaction and timely, compliant kitchen operations.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in industry or full-service restaurant cooking.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious, appetizing meals for residents.
• Follow menus and recipes with portion-control.
• Set up serving carts and ensure timely service.
• Follow food safety handling procedures and storage protocols.
• Maintain logs for refrigeration, freezers, and production.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen areas and equipment.
• Address resident feedback and dietary needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
