Job summary

Holiday by Atria - Rock Creek is seeking a Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents and manage daily kitchen operations on-site. You will follow Holiday recipes, ensure portion-control, and maintain clean, safe food preparation areas.

The role requires 2 years of kitchen experience, strong English communication, and a commitment to sanitation and resident satisfaction. Opportunities exist within a supportive team and community-focused setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years in industry or full-service kitchen cooking.
• Ability to follow Holiday recipes.
• Effective English communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices.
• Basic Computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious meals for residents following Holiday menus.
• Oversee serving carts and timely meal service.
• Maintain food safety, labeling, dating, and storage procedures.
• Complete logs for refrigerators, freezers and production.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen areas per schedules and charts.
• Focus on resident satisfaction and address any issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
