Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in industry or full-service restaurant cooking.
• Ability to prepare and follow Holiday recipes.
• Effective communication in English and excellent customer service skills.
• General knowledge of and ability to conform to sanitation and safe food handling practices.
• Basic Computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious, appetizing meals for residents and ensure kitchen operates safely and efficiently.
• Review menus and production instructions; follow Holiday recipes and portion-control standards.
• Oversee serving cart setup and ensure attractively garnished, timely meals.
• Follow food safety procedures and proper labeling, dating, and storage of food.
• Maintain logs for refrigerator, freezer, and production sheets.
• Adhere to Holiday sanitation standards and keep preparation and serving areas clean.
• Address resident satisfaction and resolve food-related concerns as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
