Job summary

Holiday by Atria - Edgewood Downs in Beaverton, OR is seeking kitchen staff to assist with meal preparation and presentation in a resident-centered dining program. You will work closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to ensure high-quality meals and exceptional dining experiences.

The role emphasizes customer service, food safety, and teamwork. Candidates should have English proficiency, food handling certifications, and the ability to follow recipes and production guides to maintain

Qualifications

• English literacy and verbal communication with residents and staff.
• Food handlers permit as required by law and company standards.
• Serv Safe certification is required.
• Ability to read recipes and production guides.
• Knowledge of food handling, preparation, cooking and serving.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and presentation of meals.
• Provide a high level of customer service.
• Collaborate with Executive Chef and Sous Chef to satisfy residents' dining.
• Keep kitchen clean, safe, and sanitary.
• Follow cleaning schedules and proper food storage.
• Prepare and serve meals and snacks per recipes.
• Assist with special events, banquets, and theme meals.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
• Attend pre-meal stand-up and perform other duties as assigned.
