Job summary

Socket.dev is recruiting a Construction & Project Manager to plan, manage and oversee capital improvements and build projects across a campus. You will liaise with leadership, residents, contractors, architects, engineers, and regulators to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires healthcare/campus experience, strong leadership and scheduling skills, and a focus on minimizing disruption to residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management, Project Management, or related field.
• Five or more years of experience managing construction, renovation, facilities, or capital projects.
• Experience in healthcare, senior living, hospital, or occupied campus environments preferred.
• Knowledge of life safety regulations, ADA requirements, and building systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage capital improvement projects from concept through occupancy and closeout.
• Develop and implement campus improvement plans with executive leadership.
• Assist in developing annual capital budgets and multi-year facilities master plans.
• Coordinate design development, permitting, procurement, and project implementation.
• Partner with finance to develop project budgets, forecasts, and funding recommendations.
• Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budgets; review invoices and change orders.
• Communicate project schedules, milestones, disruptions, and progress to stakeholders.
• Coordinate multiple projects across independent living, assisted living, memory care, and campuses.
• Oversee construction activities, vendors, and site safety; ensure compliance with plans.
