Job summary

Discovery Villages West End is seeking a friendly Concierge to welcome residents, families and guests, creating a warm first impression and helping coordinate resident services with professionalism and care.

This part-time position offers two shifts (8am-2pm and 2pm-8pm) at 2422 University Park Blvd, Richmond, VA 23233, with a pay rate of $15 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
• Professional demeanor with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform telephone answering and reception duties in a professional manner.
• Take accurate messages and route information promptly.
• Greet residents, families and visitors warmly and provide directions as needed.
• Assist with collating brochures and supporting marketing materials.
• Prepare meal tickets and tally meal counts for Dining Services.
• Maintain and update resident phone lists, rosters and logs.
• Coordinate resident and family appointments including transportation and salon services.
• Keep front desk and entry areas clean, organized and welcoming.
• Sort and distribute mail; maintain resident forms and confidentiality.
