Job summary

StoryPoint seeks an Executive Director to lead a senior living community in Tennessee. You will shape culture, manage finances, and insure compliance while delivering exceptional resident experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Health Care, Gerontology, or equivalent experience.
• Fulfillment of any necessary state-specific certification for Licensed Assisted Living or equivalent and an understanding of federal and state laws related to the operations of a Senior Assisted Living Community.
• Demonstrates passion for leading and developing people and promoting excellent service delivery to residents.
• Exceptional hospitality skills with knowledge of and sensitivity to aging adults and their families.
• Dedication to helping others and making a difference in the lives of the people they encounter every day.
• Ability to form meaningful relationships with residents, team members and families to increase satisfaction and grow census.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Drives culture within community and reinforces common beliefs through servant leadership behaviors.
• Regularly creates meaningful connections with residents to ensure safety, belonging, and peace of mind.
• Responsible for the overall financial health of the community.
• Leads other functional leaders in the community.
• Supports hiring, training, performance management and separations as needed.
• Establishes, builds and maintains positive relationships with residents and families.
• Supports the sales process to convert prospective residents and builds relationships with sales partners.
• Responsible for lease signings and Move-in-Momentum, coordinating with departments to meet resident needs.
• Conducts Resident Forums monthly to listen to concerns.
• Leads daily stand-ups to review concerns and address issues.
• Supports other functional leaders for meetings involving resident care.
• Partners with leaders to ensure 85% of community concerns are solved at the community level.
• Ensures ongoing compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements.
• Ensures preparation for regulatory compliance surveys.
• Responsible for safety protocol execution and on-site emergency support.
