Job summary

StoryPoint in New Palestine, IN is seeking an Executive Director to lead our senior living community with a focus on safety, belonging, and outstanding resident experiences.

You will drive operations, finance, sales partnerships, and staff development, building a culture of servant leadership and compliance with all state and federal requirements. The role requires a bachelor’s degree, state licensing knowledge, and strong communication with residents, families, and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, health care, gerontology, or equivalent.
• State certification for Licensed Assisted Living (or equivalent) as required.
• Demonstrates passion for leading people and delivering excellent resident service.
• Hospitality skills with sensitivity to aging adults and families.
• Dedication to helping others and making a difference daily.
• Ability to form meaningful relationships with residents, teams and families.
• Effective collaboration with diverse publics and strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Drives culture within community; reinforces servant leadership in all interactions.
• Regularly connects with residents to ensure Safety, Belonging, Something to Look Forward to and Peace of Mind.
• Responsible for overall financial health of the community.
• Leads other functional leaders in the community.
• Supports hiring, training, performance management and separations.
• Establishes and maintains positive relationships with residents and families.
• Supports sales processes and builds relationships with sales partners.
• Oversees lease signings and Move-in-Momentum with departments.
• Conducts Resident Forums monthly to listen and respond to concerns.
• Leads daily stand-ups to review concerns and address issues.
• Partners to ensure 85% of concerns are solved at the community level.
• Ensures ongoing regulatory compliance and prepares for surveys.
• Provides on-site emergency support as needed; travel may be required.
• May attend Real Estate Class and obtain licensure; may support staffing needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
