Job summary

StoryPoint in Kentucky is seeking an Executive Director for a senior living community. You will drive culture, supervise leaders, and ensure financial health while delivering exceptional resident experiences.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in business, health care, or gerontology, and a passion for developing people and delivering high-quality service to residents and families. On-site leadership and regulatory compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Health Care, Gerontology, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrates passion for leading and developing people and promoting excellent service delivery to residents.
• Exceptional hospitality skills with sensitivity to aging adults and families.
• Ability to form meaningful relationships with residents, team members, and families to increase satisfaction and census.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong ability to work with diverse publics and maintain consensus.

Responsibilities

• Drives culture within the community and models servant leadership.
• Regularly connects with residents to ensure Safety, Belonging, and Peace of Mind.
• Oversees financial health of the community.
• Leads other functional leaders and supports hiring, training, and performance management.
• Establishes and maintains positive relationships with residents and families.
• Supports sales processes and collaborates with sales partners.
• Manages lease signings and move-in processes with other departments.
• Conducts monthly Resident Forums to address concerns.
• Leads daily stand-ups to review community concerns.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and safety protocols are met.
