Qualifications

• Knowledge of and experience in the recovery process from mental health disorders and/or substance use.
• Eighteen (18) years of age and older.
• Has completed a peer specialist certification training curriculum approved by the state Of Pennsylvania
• Criminal History Clearances- PA State Police Clearance, Child Abuse, FBI

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 peer support to individuals in recovery and wellness goals.
• Promote empowerment and self-determination through shared experience.
• Build trust and offer tools to help peers achieve growth.
