Job summary

PeerStar is seeking a Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPS) to help older adults in Pennsylvania. In this role you draw on lived experience to support recovery, empowerment, and wellness goals in a community-based setting.

We sponsor certification and offer a $1,000 sign-on bonus, $2,000 if already certified, plus Health Insurance, 401k, PTO. Both full-time and part-time opportunities available in a statewide Pennsylvania program.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of and experience in the recovery process from mental health disorders and/or substance use.
• Eighteen (18) years of age and older.
• Has completed a peer specialist certification training curriculum approved by the state Of Pennsylvania
• Criminal History Clearances- PA State Police Clearance, Child Abuse, FBI
