Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Business Office Director to manage the community's business office, HR, payroll, billing, and operations. You will be the primary contact for residents, families, and staff regarding billing and HR questions.

Responsibilities include AR, contracts, orientation, file management, payroll, and budget oversight, with front desk oversight. Requires 3–5 years in related fields and senior living experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; associate degree or higher preferred.
• 3-5 years in business office management, finance, HR, or accounting.
• Experience with various CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
• Strong accounting, billing, collections, and expense management knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with seniors-focused service.
• High accuracy, time management, and ability to work independently.
• Professional ethics and integrity.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends when needed.
• Experience in independent living or senior living settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce and manage accounts receivable and assist month-end close.
• Manage resident contracts, execution, and renewals.
• Coordinate new resident orientation and move-in process.
• Maintain resident and employee files per regulatory forms.
• Lead new hire orientation for staff.
• Serve as human resources contact for the community.
• Produce and manage payroll for the community.
• Collaborate with the Executive Director to meet budget.
• Oversee front desk staff, including recruiting, training, and supervision.
