Belmont Village Senior Living in Fort Lauderdale is seeking an Activity Program Enrichment Leader to promote socialization, learning and development for residents in Independent and Assisted Living. You will plan, set up and implement engaging activities reflecting residents' interests and values, while demonstrating reliability, empathy and hospitality.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree with coursework in recreation therapy, liberal arts, social sciences, education, theater, or related fields; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience coordinating and leading group activities.
• Ability to work defined schedule including weekends.
• Strong creativity, communication, organization, and relationship-building abilities.
• Must communicate clearly in English, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in MS Office; professional, pleasant and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging activity programs for residents in Independent and Assisted Living.
• Provide one-on-one engagement with new residents to assist transitions.
• Maintain bulletin boards to promote events within the community.
• Prepare materials and conduct research for Whole Brain Fitness activities.
• Track resident participation and maintain related documentation.
• Assist with planning and coordination for resident outings and events.
