Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living in Fort Lauderdale is seeking an Activity Program Enrichment Leader. You will promote socialization, growth, and learning by conducting activities for Independent and Assisted Living residents, coordinating materials, and leading small groups or individual sessions.

The ideal candidate has at least an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong creativity, communication, and organizational skills, and a reliable, empathetic mindset for seniors.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in recreation therapy, liberal arts, social sciences, education, theatre or related fields.
• Minimum 1 year of experience coordinating and leading group activities.
• Clear English communication, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Lead and teach engaging activity programs for residents in our community.
• Provide one-on-one engagement to assist resident transitions into the community.
• Maintain bulletin boards to promote activities and events.
• Prepare materials and research for life-long learning activities per Belmont Village standards.
• Assist with tracking resident participation and related documentation.
• Help plan and coordinate resident outings and events.
