Belmont Village Senior Living in Houston, TX is seeking a Part-Time Activity Program Enrichment Leader to promote socialization and lifelong learning among Independent and Assisted Living residents. You will plan, set up and conduct engaging activities reflecting diverse interests, while providing one-on-one engagement for new residents.

The ideal candidate has an Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in a related field, enjoys a fast-paced, physically active environment, and demonstrates

Qualifikationen

• Associates Degree with coursework in Recreation Therapy, liberal arts, social sciences, education, theater, or related fields.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience coordinating and leading group activities.
• Must communicate clearly in English and be team oriented.

Aufgaben

• Leading and teaching engaging activity programs with small groups or individuals in our Independent and Assisted Living community.
• Providing one-on-one engagement with new residents to assist with transitions.
• Maintaining bulletin boards to promote activities and events.
• Preparing materials and researching life-long learning activities aligned with Whole Brain Fitness.
• Tracking resident participation and maintaining compliance documentation.
• Planning and coordinating resident outings and events.

Ausbildung

Associate’s Degree with coursework in Recreation Therapy, liberal arts, social sciences, education, theater, or related fields
