Belmont Village Senior Living seeks an Activity Program Enrichment Leader to promote socialization, growth and learning for residents in Independent and Assisted Living. You will plan, set up and implement engaging activities reflecting residents’ diverse interests, values, and beliefs.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field, has at least 1 year coordinating group activities, and can work a 9am–5:30pm schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree with coursework in Recreation Therapy, liberal arts, social sciences, education, theater, or related fields.
• Minimum 1 year of experience coordinating and leading group activities.
• Ability to work defined schedule which may include weekends.
• Strong creativity, communication, organization, and relationship-building abilities.
• Must communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite.

Responsabilités

• Leading and teaching engaging activity programs with small groups or individuals in Independent and Assisted Living.
• Providing one-on-one engagement with new residents to assist with transition into the community.
• Maintaining bulletin boards to promote activities and events.
• Preparing materials and researching to lead life-long learning activities per Belmont Village standards for Whole Brain Fitness.
• Tracking resident participation and maintaining related documentation.
