Job summary

Heritage Lake Country Senior Living is seeking a Life Enrichment / Activities Assistant to craft meaningful experiences for residents. You will plan, lead, and participate in recreational and social programs, adapting activities to individual interests and abilities while fostering a warm, inclusive community.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED with a compassionate, dependable, and creative approach. CNA is a plus but not required; strong communication completes the profile.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous activities, recreation, senior living, healthcare, hospitality, childcare, or customer-service experience is preferred but not required.
• CNA certification is a plus but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, coworkers, and visitors.
• Ability to meet applicable pre-employment, training, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead a variety of recreational, social, physical, educational, and entertainment programs.
• Lead and assist with group activities, games, crafts, music, exercise, and celebrations.
• Encourage participation and include residents of varying abilities.
• Spend one-on-one time with residents and provide engaging sensory activities.
• Maintain activity spaces, assist with outings, and document participation.
