Ivy Park at Santa Monica is a premier senior living community managed by Oakmont Management Group. The Activity Assistant supports organizing, promoting, and directing activities to enhance residents' independence and quality of life.

The role requires 18+ years of age, a high school diploma, and ability to drive community vehicles. You will assist with program delivery, recruit volunteers, and ensure a safe, engaging social environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer one (1) year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
• Requires driving ability to operate community vehicles and familiarity with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activity Director in delivering a variety of engaging activities and excursions.
• Develop, recruit, manage and schedule Community Volunteers as requested.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, co-workers and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe environment by following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork across departments to support residents' wellbeing.
