Job summary

Cogir Senior Living, based in Scottsdale, Arizona, oversees a network of senior living communities and operates Cogir of Sonoma Plaza in Sonoma, CA. We are hiring a Resident Lifestyle Assistant to design, initiate and coordinate daily activities that promote residents' physical, mental, emotional and social well-being.

You will engage residents individually and in groups, lead diverse activities, assist with newsletters, and help ensure safety and enjoyment during outings, holidays, and events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6–12 months of experience with seniors in life enrichment.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Engage residents one-on-one and in groups.
• Lead or assist with social, religious, educational, indoor and outdoor activities.
• Facilitate games, conversations, exercise, art and music, trips, and special events.
• Support the coordination of the monthly newsletter.
• Encourage resident participation in activities and document outcomes.
• Review goals and progress notes.
• Assist in decorating for special events, holidays, and seasonal celebrations.
