Job summary

Intersect Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Recreation Aide to implement and coordinate recreation programs for residents. The role ensures activities align with the Monthly Calendar, delivers one-on-one and group sessions, and maintains accurate charting and resident engagement.

The position requires interaction with residents, volunteers, and staff, with evening and weekend availability and adherence to HIPAA and safety practices. Training and supervision are provided by the Recreation Director.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent required.
• Experience working with senior groups, or in leading and assisting with group activities is preferred.
• Knowledge of and experience with various types of arts and crafts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements Recreation Programs in accordance with the planned Monthly Calendar and as assigned by the Recreation Director and ensures programs are conducted timely and at specified locations.
• Assists in completion of the Recreation Calendar and Facility newsletter as assigned.
• Reschedules programs as necessary and notifies appropriate staff after approval from the Recreation Director.
• Implements One-on-One and Room Visit Programs and completes charting accurately and timely.
