Job summary

IntersectHC is seeking a Part Time Activity Aide to implement the facility's Recreation activities and events under the Recreation Director's direction, engaging residents with familiar routines and meaningful tasks.

The role involves leading group programs, one-on-one visits, and transporting residents to activities, while recording participation and coordinating with nursing and staff to ensure safety and quality care. Weekend and holiday adjustments are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with seniors or leading group activities preferred.
• Knowledge of arts and crafts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement Recreation Programs per Monthly Calendar and as assigned by the Recreation Director.
• Assist in completion of the Recreation Calendar and Facility newsletter.
• Chart resident participation and maintain records in electronic health records as appropriate.
• Promote Volunteer Program and assist in training volunteers.
• Attend department meetings and assist with paperwork as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines and report changes in resident condition.
