Job summary

IntersectHC is seeking a dedicated Recreation Aide to support daily living activities for residents within the Recreation Department. You will implement programs, assist with leisure activities, and help maintain accurate participation records to ensure meaningful engagement.

The role requires interaction with residents, volunteers, and staff, with responsibilities including transportation to events, assisting with program setup, and promoting a positive, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent required.
• Experience with senior groups preferred.
• Arts and crafts knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements Recreation Programs as scheduled and within the Monthly Calendar.
• Maintains resident participation records in electronic/paper formats.
• Assists in the Leisure Interest Assessment and communicates new leisure needs to the RD.
• Transports residents to programs and assists with community trips as scheduled.
• Promotes volunteer involvement and assists in training volunteers.
