Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Life Enrichment Activities Assistant in Virginia to support the Life Enrichment Director in creating, coordinating and delivering engaging programs for Independent Living and Assisted Living communities.

You will plan, lead and evaluate activities, survey resident interests, coordinate with the program team, and promote participation while maintaining records and organizing transportation for residents to activities and outings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; entry level with 1–3 years preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Designs, creates and implements monthly activity programs based on wellness dimensions.
• Leads 6–7 high-quality programs per day.
• Surveys residents to determine interests and satisfaction with activities.
• Coordinates with the program team to plan calendars, events and outings.
• Builds relationships with residents and families to promote participation.
• Documents and maintains all required program records.
• Organizes resident council meetings and staging areas for activities.
• Recruits and oversees volunteers; posts daily notices.
• Arranges transportation to activities and medical appointments.
• Supports off-site outings with safe coordination.
