Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC is seeking a Life Enrichment Activities Assistant to support the Life Enrichment Director in designing and executing diverse recreational and educational programs for our IL and AL neighborhoods. The role involves creating monthly activity plans aligned with Harmony signatures and resident interests.

You will lead 6–7 high-quality programs daily, survey residents, coordinate with the program team, and build strong connections with residents and families to boost

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and/or experience; state requirements may apply.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Flexible, consistent, imaginative, engaging and have a passion for working with seniors.
• Experience organizing, conducting, and planning programs and activities.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be in good physical condition and be able to sit, stand, bend, kneel, walk, and lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, initiate, facilitate, and implement a monthly program of activities.
• Lead 6–7 high quality programs per day.
• Survey residents to complete profiles and determine interests and satisfaction with programs.
• Coordinate with program team to plan calendars, events, and outings.
• Develop relationships with residents and families to promote participation and satisfaction.
• Document and maintain records as required.
• Organize and attend resident council meetings.
• Set up and stage programming areas and supplies.
• Recruit, coordinate, and oversee a volunteer program.
• Promote programs with notices and posters.
• Arrange spaces and equipment for activities and transport residents as needed.
• Coordinate resident transportation for groceries, appointments, and activities; assist with off-site outings.
