Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC is seeking a Life Enrichment Director to develop and implement meaningful activity and recreational programs for residents across Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care. You will lead a comprehensive activities agenda, engaging residents with diverse interests while promoting physical and psychosocial wellbeing.

The role requires expertise in therapeutic recreation, strong communication, and the ability to collaborate with families, staff and volunteers

Qualifications

• Qualified therapeutic recreation professional with certification or eligible for certification.
• Experience planning, organizing and executing life enrichment activities for seniors including dementia care.
• Strong written and verbal communication with residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop a resident activities program for IL, AL and MC.
• Serve on the facility management team to identify resident needs and advise on program plans.
• Attend resident association meetings and coordinate with volunteers.
• Oversee budget and maintain activities area and supplies.
