Harmony Senior Services in Herndon, VA seeks a Life Enrichment Activities Assistant to support the Life Enrichment Director in creating and delivering a diverse calendar of programs for independent living and assisted living residents.

You will lead several daily activities, coordinate with the program team, recruit volunteers, transport residents as needed, and help maintain records to ensure a safe, engaging, and meaningful experience for residents.

Competenze

• High School Diploma and/or experience; subject to state requirements; Entry level position with 1-3 years experience highly desired.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Flexible, imaginative, engaging and have a passion for working with seniors.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be in good physical condition and be able to sit, stand, bend kneel, walk, and lift to 50 lbs.

Mansioni

• Support Life Enrichment Director in designing and implementing programs for Independent Living (IL) and Assisted Living (AL) neighborhoods.
• Lead 6-7 high quality programs per day.
• Coordinate with program team to plan calendars, events, and outings for the upcoming month.
• Recruit, coordinate, and oversee a robust volunteer program.
• Assist in resident transportation to activities, appointments, and outings.
• Maintain records and organize programming areas and supplies.
