Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living in Spartanburg, SC, is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator to develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive life enrichment program. You will plan meaningful activities, events, and experiences that support social engagement, physical and cognitive stimulation, and emotional well-being for residents.

You will partner with residents, families, and staff to tailor programs to interests and life stories while adhering to safety and care standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Driver's license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs and electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and lead community activities, programs, and events.
• Welcome new residents and families to the life enrichment program.
• Coordinate holiday decorations for the community.
• Assist in Life Story documentation and resident assessments.
• Communicate effectively with residents' families and staff; participate in team meetings.
