Sanford Health in Sioux Falls seeks an activities assistant to manage the monthly calendar, engage residents, and support care with compassion. You will help plan music, crafts, and spiritual activities, while documenting interactions and assisting with transport.

Required high school completion, with preferred experience in social services or geriatrics; BLS/CPR training may be required within six months, and a valid driver license is often needed.

Qualificações

• Experience in social services or creative activities preferred.
• Experience in geriatrics preferred.
• Knowledge of working with a wide variety of resident demographics.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR training within six months of hire when required by location.

Responsabilidades

• Administers the monthly activity calendar and plans engaging activities.
• Encourages input from patients/residents and keeps activities well organized.
• Assists with simple nursing procedures and transports patients/residents.
• Maintains documentation and demonstrates effective communication and leadership.
