Sanford Health is seeking an Activity Assistant to plan and lead engaging activities for residents in a 128-bed skilled nursing setting. You will organize the monthly calendar, solicit resident input, and help with light nursing tasks and transport as needed.

The role emphasizes creativity, strong communication, and the ability to work under supervision while guiding activities that respect resident dignity. CPR/BLS training and a valid driver’s license may be required.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CNA certification preferred or currently enrolled in a healthcare program.
• BLS/CPR training required within six months where applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Administers the monthly activity calendar.
• Elicits patient input and keeps activities organized and engaging.
• Supports activities that match residents' needs and dignity.
• Assists with routine nursing tasks and transporting residents as needed.
• Documents MDS/EPIC entries and maintains records.
• Demonstrates creativity, leadership, and clear communication.
• Prioritizes duties and works autonomously within supervision guidelines.
