Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in social services or creative activities preferred.
• Experience in geriatrics preferred.
• Knowledge of working with a diverse resident population.
• Current CNA certification or enrollment in a healthcare program preferred.
• BLS required; CPR training within six months of hire may be required.
• Driver's license with acceptable Motor Vehicle Report may be required per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities and interventions for residents one-on-one or in groups.
• Administer the monthly activity calendar.
• Involve residents in activity planning and solicit feedback.
• Operate activities such as music, crafts, and spiritual programs in line with state requirements.
• Assist with basic nursing procedures and transport of residents.
• Document in EPIC/MDS and maintain accurate records.
• Demonstrate leadership to motivate staff and ensure efficient workflow.
