Job summary

Jackson Creek Senior Living in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Lifestyle Assistant to work with the lifestyle team to create vibrant resident experiences. You will assist with planning and leading activities across multiple categories, fostering participation and positive relationships among residents.

You will document engagement daily, coordinate outings and celebrations, and help with decorations and transportation as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, implementing, and leading activities across physical, social, recreational, intellectual, and other categories.
• Lead group activities and encourage resident participation.
• Document resident engagement daily in LifeLoop and observe trends.
• Coordinate community outings, events, and celebrations; act as chaperone when needed.
• Get to know residents and tailor activities to their interests.
• Assist with decorating the facility for events and holidays.
• Support social media content creation and posting for the community.
• Drive the company vehicle for resident activities and appointments as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance resident experiences.
