Westchester Village in Lenexa, KS is seeking a dedicated Activities Assistant to join our team. The Activities Assistant assists the Activities Director with a program of activities for residents, communicating effectively to advocate elder-centered care to staff, families, and the community.

The role focuses on participation in activities, documentation of logs, and promoting resident-directed care while coordinating with supervisors and volunteers to support a vibrant senior living environment.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• The Senior Living Activities Assistant participates in activities with residents of the community.
• Maintains department activity logs and documentation.
• Practices resident-directed/centered care in daily activities.
• Plans activities as directed by supervisor.
• Works with resident and family councils.
• Directs and supervises volunteers.
