Job summary

Dial in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Lifestyle Assistant to support a vibrant senior living community. You will plan and lead activities across multiple categories, coordinate outings, and help residents engage in daily events.

You’ll document engagement, assist with decorations, and help residents with mobility while collaborating with other departments. A high school diploma or GED and 18+ age are required; flexible hours including evenings and weekends are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Ability to assist residents with mobility and stand for extended periods
• Promote teamwork in providing services to residents
• Demonstrated organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, implementing, and leading activities across physical, social, recreational, intellectual/educational, creative, entertainment, religious, service/volunteering, and special requests of residents
• Lead group activities while encouraging resident participation and building positive relationships
• Document resident engagement daily in LifeLoop
• Coordinate community outings, events, and special celebrations, while assisting as a chaperone
• Become acquainted with each resident and their activity preferences and promote activities accordingly
• Assist with decoration of the facility for special events, seasons, and holidays
• Invite residents to participate in planned activities, assisting them to and from activities
• Support social media content creation and posting for the community
• Drive the company vehicle for resident activities and appointments, as needed
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance resident experiences
• Identify and requisition needed supplies for planned activities
• Report on-the-job injuries to the supervisor before end of shift
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and operations information
• Other duties as assigned
