Job summary

Powerhouse Arts in New York, NY invites a seasoned Production Manager for Live Programs and Rentals to lead day-to-day planning, coordination, and execution of public programs, performances, exhibitions, private events, and venue rentals.

You will collaborate with artists, rental clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure on-time, on-budget productions that meet safety and artistic standards, from advance planning through load-out.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5–7 years of professional management experience in live event production.
• Experience coordinating complex productions from pre-production to execution.
• Knowledge of safety standards and venue operations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage productions from confirmation through completion.
• Advance productions with technical requirements, schedules, and staff needs.
• Lead production meetings and site visits with partners.
• Coordinate information across departments and with rental clients.
• Oversee load-in, performances, and load-out for events.
• Maintain safety, budgets, and vendor logistics.
