Powerhouse Arts in Brooklyn, NY, seeks a Production Manager for Live Programs and Rentals to oversee planning, coordination, and execution of public programs, performances, exhibitions, private events, and venue rentals.

You will work with artists, rental clients and internal teams to ensure productions run safely, on schedule, and to high professional standards, with flexibility for evenings and weekends as required.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of professional management experience in live event production or related environments.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex productions from pre-production through event execution.
• Experience supervising freelance crews, vendors, and production teams.

Responsabilités

• Manage assigned productions from confirmation through completion; primary contact for organizers, artists and rental clients.
• Advance productions by collecting technical requirements, schedules, staffing, layouts, equipment and logistics.
• Lead production meetings, site visits, walkthroughs and planning sessions with internal departments and clients.
• Coordinate information across departments and communicate updates to all stakeholders.
• Prepare production paperwork including schedules, ground plans, sketches, crew plans and checklists.
• Coordinate with Venue Rentals to ensure smooth contract to delivery transition.
