Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment is seeking a seasoned Production Manager to oversee on-site, backstage, and technical aspects for 75+ events annually in the Boston region. You will liaise with clients, talent, venues, vendors, and unions, ensuring smooth operations and timely execution.

The role requires strong leadership, multi-project coordination, and travel within the region. A proven track record in production management and vendor oversight is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production management experience across varied venue types and event scales.
• Proven project management and planning expertise, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills, especially under pressure and with limited information.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills—written, verbal, and interpersonal.
• Experience procuring vendors and managing staff, services, and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-stage, backstage, technical, and site planning aspects of events.
• Advance and obtain key technical information, including venue specs and rider requirements.
• Develop and maintain production documents such as site drawings and schedules.
• Produce events across a range of venue sizes from clubs to stadiums.
• Manage technical production elements (stage, sound, video, lighting, backline, labor).
• Support site operations (power, heavy equipment, crowd control, permitting).
• Track and assist with budget management for assigned responsibilities.
• Lead multiple projects from planning through execution with on-site presence.
