Job summary

FBT Gibbons LLP in Nashville is seeking a Litigation Support Manager to lead the firm’s eDiscovery and litigation support team, delivering innovative, defensible services across matters. This role blends technical expertise with people leadership to support attorneys, clients, and complex litigation.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in eDiscovery with management experience, strong communication, and the ability to guide case teams through the litigation lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive eDiscovery/Litigation Support experience, including management.
• Knowledge of EDRM, litigation lifecycle, and defensible eDiscovery processes.
• Proficiency with listed litigation support platforms and related tech.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the firm’s Litigation Support Team, including staffing and coaching.
• Develop standards, workflows, and best practices for secure service delivery.
• Provide eDiscovery consultation to attorneys and staff throughout litigation lifecycles.
• Partner with case teams to assess project needs and translate processes clearly.
• Oversee eDiscovery workflows: data management, searching, production, and trial support.
• Monitor industry trends and vendor relationships to support competitive solutions.
• Identify and fix workflow deficiencies to improve quality and efficiency.
• Assist budgeting and technology planning for litigation tools with CIO.
• Develop and deliver training on litigation support technologies for staff.
• Stay aware of emerging AI technologies and appropriate use in litigation.
• Perform billable litigation support work as needed (500–650 hours annually).
