Job summary

FBT Gibbons LLP is seeking a Litigation Support Manager to lead a skilled team and deliver defensible eDiscovery services across the firm. The role combines technical expertise, strategic thinking, and people leadership to support attorneys and complex matters.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in eDiscovery/Litigation Support plus strong knowledge of industry tools. The position requires travel and extended hours as needed, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive eDiscovery/Litigation Support experience, including management experience.
• Knowledge of the EDRM, litigation lifecycle, and defensible eDiscovery processes.
• Proficiency with TrialDirector, CaseMap/TimeMap, Viewpoint, Relativity, Adobe Creative Cloud, and MS Office.
• Strong technical, analytical, communication, presentation, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to travel within the firm’s footprint and work extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the firm’s Litigation Support Team, including project assignments and personnel development.
• Develop and promote standards, workflows, and best practices for secure, defensible service delivery.
• Provide eDiscovery consultation and technical guidance to attorneys and staff.
• Partner with case teams to assess project needs and ensure high‑quality services.
• Oversee eDiscovery workflows: data management, searching, production, and trial support.
• Monitor trends, pricing models, and vendor relationships to support competitive solutions.
• Identify deficiencies and implement process improvements to enhance service quality.
• Support budgeting and technology planning for litigation tools in partnership with CIO.
• Deliver educational programs and training on litigation tech for attorneys and staff.
• Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and their appropriate use in litigation.
• Perform billable litigation support work as needed (500–650 hours annually).
