Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is actively hiring for a Sr. Litigation Specialist (Remote) to take ownership of complex litigated auto and homeowners claims. You will guide defense counsel, assess settlement opportunities, and manage indemnity exposure while aiming for fair, timely resolutions and controlled costs.

The role requires handling diverse claims, strategic support, and interaction with executive leadership. This position is remote across the United States with some exceptions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, risk mgmt or equivalent.
• High School diploma required.
• Proven experience handling insurance claims; senior casualty exp preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze claims and create discovery plans for first- and third-party matters.
• Direct defense counsel with authorization for resolution.
• Review liability, damages, and risk for settlements.
• Collaborate on strategy and attend mediations.
• Authorize and monitor outside counsel budgets.
• Prepare recommendations for executive review.
