CSAA Insurance Group is actively hiring a Sr. Litigation Specialist for a remote role available nationwide (excluding Hawaii and Alaska).

The position involves owning complex litigated auto and homeowners claims, guiding defense counsel, evaluating settlements, and managing defense costs and indemnity exposure. You will lead discovery, coordinate with experts, and negotiate on high-stakes matters while ensuring timely resolutions and strategic settlements aligned with company policy and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance or risk management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• High School diploma required.
• A proven experience handling insurance claims.
• Prior Senior Casualty experience strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Analyze claims and determine strategy for complex litigated cases.
• Direct defense counsel on settlements, discovery plans, and trial or resolution strategy.
• Review liability, damages, coverage and risk to assess settlements.
• Monitor outside counsel budgets and review defense costs vs. indemnity exposure.
• Present recommendations to local and executive management for litigated cases.
