Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a Senior Litigation Specialist (Remote) to manage complex auto and homeowners claims. You will direct defense strategy, negotiate settlements, and oversee outside counsel budgets while balancing costs and indemnity exposure.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, prior senior casualty experience, strong communication, and willingness to travel for mediations and enterprise meetings. Remote work is available nationwide except for restricted states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance or risk management or equivalent experience.
• Licensed in required states and willingness to obtain licensing as needed.
• Strong written and oral communication with executive-level presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own complex litigated auto and homeowners claims and guide defense strategy.
• Coordinate with defense counsel, manage negotiations and settlements.
• Review liability, damages and coverage to determine settlement posture.
• Authorize outside counsel budgets and monitor defense costs.
• Prepare case recommendations for executive review and secure approvals.
