Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a Sr. Litigation Specialist (Remote) to lead complex auto and homeowners claims. You will direct defense counsel, evaluate settlements, and manage indemnity exposure while maintaining budget discipline.

The role emphasizes strategic negotiations and authority up to the highest levels. The position supports a remote-first culture across the United States, with exceptions for Hawaii and Alaska.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills in oral and written form.
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours including weekends.
• Experience handling insurance claims and litigated matters is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze claims and develop discovery plans including depositions and experts.
• Coordinate with defense counsel to determine resolution strategies and budgets.
• Review liability, damages, coverage, and risk for settlements.
• Collaborate with counsel for negotiations and mediations.
• Authorize and monitor outside counsel budgets and analyze expenses.
• Present litigated case recommendations to local and executive management.
