Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group (CSAA IG) is hiring a Senior Litigation Specialist for a remote role in the United States. You will own complex litigated авто and homeowners matters, shaping strategies, directing defense counsel, and negotiating settlements to achieve timely, cost-effective resolutions.

The role requires a law-adjacent background with insurance claims experience and strong negotiation skills. You will collaborate with counsel, management, and stakeholders while traveling as needed for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance or risk management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• High School diploma required.
• A proven experience handling insurance claims.
• Prior Senior Casualty experience strongly preferred.
• Licensing in the states where they are required (exciting factor).
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze claims to determine settlement strategy and budget.
• Direct defense counsel and negotiate settlements.
• Review liability, damages, and risk for settlement.
• Prepare recommendations for litigated cases for leadership review.
• Authorize and monitor outside counsel budgets.
