Job summary

CB Partners, LLC in Atlanta seeks an experienced paralegal to support a sophisticated litigation practice. Working under attorneys, you will assist across case evaluation, discovery, depositions, trial prep, post-trial matters, and appeals.

The ideal candidate can work independently, manage multiple priorities, and take ownership of complex case-management responsibilities while maintaining confidentiality and high organizational standards.

Qualifications

• 6-10+ years of paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate setting.
• Strong understanding of litigation procedures and lifecycle.
• Bachelor's degree or accredited paralegal certificate preferred.
• Experience coordinating the work of case clerks, paralegals, or others is a plus.
• Experience with complex, class-action, or document-intensive litigation is desirable.
• Familiarity with Georgia state and federal courts.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel.
• Experience with Relativity, LiveNote, and other litigation-support systems.
• Strong online legal research skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with attorneys, clients, staff, vendors, and maintain confidentiality.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
• Willingness to work extra or irregular hours as litigation deadlines require.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with initial case review and evaluation.
• Prepare case chronologies and pleadings; organize case materials.
• Coordinate intake, organization, and review of client documents.
• Maintain accurate case files throughout each matter.
• Coordinate all aspects of written and documentary discovery.
• Draft discovery requests and responses for attorney review.
• Coordinate document collection, production, and review.
• Coordinate deposition logistics; prepare outlines and exhibits.
• Attend depositions and summarize transcripts.
• Prepare subpoenas and arrange court reporters.
• Maintain litigation-support databases.
• Work with vendors on imaging and db projects.
• Utilize litigation tech to organize and retrieve materials.
• Conduct factual investigations and witness research.
• Coordinate trial binders, exhibits, and presentation materials.
• Assist with post-trial matters and appellate records.
