Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a Sr. Litigation Specialist to manage complex litigated auto and homeowners claims from a remote location across the United States (excluding Hawaii and Alaska).

You will guide defense counsel, evaluate settlements, and set authority for resolutions while controlling costs and exposure. The role requires strong knowledge of civil procedure, proactive negotiation skills, and the ability to collaborate with executives and external counsel in a remote-first

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, insurance or risk management or related field.
• High School diploma required.
• Proven experience handling insurance claims.
• Senior casualty experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of complex litigated claims involving auto and homeowners matters.
• Shape claim strategy by directing defense counsel and evaluating settlements.
• Establish settlement authority and participate in negotiations to achieve timely resolutions.
• Balance defense costs and indemnity while managing overall exposure.
