Job summary

Saint Peters Healthcare System seeks a Sr. LIS Application Analyst in Lab Administration to maintain standards of operation designed by CAP, Joint Commission, NJDOH and CLIA regulations.

The role administers hospital and laboratory LIS policies, ensures staff adherence to LIS best practices, interfaces with LIS vendors, and oversees LIS programs across the Laboratory while monitoring data transfer accuracy between systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or IT-related field required.
• MS preferred (Science/CS/Life Science/IT/Engineering/Math or MT/MLS ASCP).
• Minimum 3 years IT/LIS analyst experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain standards of operation per CAP, Joint Commission, NJDOH and CLIA.
• Administer hospital and laboratory LIS policies and procedures.
• Ensure staff conformance to LIS best practices.
• Liaise with LIS vendors to address issues and coordinate updates.
• Manage LIS programs used by Laboratory Personnel.
• Monitor data transfer and results transfer across systems.
